About this role
Responsible for maintaining the professional appearance of landscaping around Dot’s facilities for the enjoyment of employees, partners, visitors, and candidates.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Maintain facilities grounds to ensure a clean and pleasant appearance
- Directs daily grounds work assignments of seasonal, part-time
- Mowing, edging, raking as well as other lawn maintenance
- Trim trees, shrubs, bushes, and replacing or any additions of landscaping
- Maintain sprinkler systems, water features, and all ground equipment according to manufacturer’s recommendations
- Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.
YOU MUST HAVE
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree
- 5+ years golf course or commercial landscaping management experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Equipment maintenance experience
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Management or equivalent experience
- Previous sprinkler system maintenance
- Proficient organization skills
- Proficient communication skills
- Previous safety orientated position
ROLE SPECIFICS
- Schedule: M-F 7:00 AM TO 3:30 PM
- Working outside in all temperatures and working at heights.
- Regular physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively.
