    Advanced Procurement is more than sourcing. We are innovation enablers, connecting technology trends, supplier expertise, and business requirements to create value for our customers. Through close collaboration across functions and regions, we ensure the best solutions find their way into KUKA products.  
    • Lead procurement activities for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept to series production 
    • Develop and validate product cost calculations, target costs, and cost engineering models to support competitive product development
    • Drive value engineering and cost reduction initiatives across the product lifecycle
    • Conduct market research, technology scouting, benchmarking, and total cost of ownership analyses to identify competitive solutions.
    • Select, qualify, and develop suppliers while evaluating supplier capabilities, risks, and performance
    • Contribute to sourcing, commodity, and supplier strategies in close collaboration with Engineering, Product Management, and Operations
    • Coordinate change management activities and support the introduction, phase-in, and phase-out of components and assemblies throughout the product lifecycle
    Application Requirements What you need to succeed
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field
    • Several years of experience in Procurement, Advanced Procurement, NPI, Cost Engineering, Value Engineering, or a related function
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand technologies, manufacturing processes, and cost structures
    • Experience working in cross-functional and international project teams
    • Knowledge of target costing, design-to-cost, supplier management, and value engineering methodologies
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
    • Proactive, independent, and structured working style with strong problem-solving capabilities
