Responsibilities Make an impact Swisslog are currently seeking a Senior Information Security Specialist based in our Dortmund office with hybrid working available. As Senior Information Security Specialist, you will drive and continuously improve Swisslog’s global Information Security and Data Protection Management Systems. Working closely with IT, Legal, Compliance and business teams you will help ensure compliance, manage risks and strengthen our global security and privacy posture.- Maintain and continuously improve the global Information Security Management System (ISMS) in line with ISO/IEC 27001.
- Lead and support ISO 27001 certification initiatives across Swisslog entities and locations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including NIS2, GDPR, customer requirements, and internal governance frameworks.
- Conduct security and privacy risk assessments and coordinate mitigation activities.
- Manage security and privacy incidents, ensuring appropriate investigation and corrective actions.
- Provide security and privacy guidance for business projects and initiatives.
- Support customer security assessments, questionnaires, and contractual requirements.
- Monitor, report, and communicate security KPIs and management information.
- Promote a strong security and privacy culture across international teams.
- At least 5 years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, information security management, and risk management.
- Good understanding of data protection regulations, particularly GDPR.
- Experience with audits, compliance reviews, and security assessments.
- Ability to translate security and regulatory requirements into practical business solutions.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in international and cross-functional environments.
- Willingness to travel internationally occasionally
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field desirable.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Lead Implementer.
- Experience with NIS2, TISAX, ISO 9001 or similar standards.
- German language skills are an advantage.
