    About this role

    Location: Mt. Sterling, IL             

    Department: Accounts Receivable

    Reports To: AR Manager

    Wage Range: $18.35 - $27.53 per hour, plus bonus opportunity

    As an Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you will provide the Accounts Receivable (AR) System (BDW, PRM, PeopleSoft-AR) users the training, support, and development they need to expand their activity. This includes all user groups including, but not limited to Dot employees, distributors, brokers, national account operators, and suppliers.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Provide first-level support on the telephone, via e-mail or in-person with users by walking the users through a series of steps to determine the problem and classify the level of the issue
    • Analyze and prioritize the reported AR System issues, and escalate as necessary
    • Organize, schedule and facilitate user training via webinar, conference calls and/or in-person presentations
    • Provide advice and input to the appropriate management team on potential system changes
    • Leads continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    • High school diploma or general equivalency degree
    • Willingness and capability to make phone calls to potential and current Portal users
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Effective computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word

    YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

    • Bachelor’s degree or 2 years AR experience
    • Ability to perform well in a team environment as well as independently
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and handle multiple tasks
    • Above average problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills

    ROLE SPECIFICS

    • Occasional travel required to various company meetings, seminars, and Sales meetings. Must have ability to independently travel as needed, without restriction, by all modes of transportation, including car, plane or train to meet the responsibilities of the job.
    • Some flexibility in schedule and overtime will be needed in order to meet the demands of the job.
