About the Role:
Solutions Operations is the engine behind how Motive's Solutions organization (Sales Engineering, Trial Success, Business Value Services (BVS), Implementation, Installation, and Proposals) measures its performance, runs its systems, and improves how it works. We're hiring the manager who will lead that engine.
You will own two connected workflows. Insights & Analytics is how Solutions understands itself: validated metrics, reliable datasets, and analysis that leaders and individual contributors use to run their teams. Tooling & Systems is how Solutions works: Salesforce and the connected systems, the automation that removes manual effort, and the AI tools that are starting to change how the organization operates.
This is a people leadership role, not a solo analyst or systems admin seat. You will build and develop a team, set its priorities and operating rhythm, allocate its capacity, and resolve complex problems through it. Success looks like Solutions leaders making faster, better-supported decisions and Solutions teams spending less time on manual work.
What You’ll Do:
- Monitor performance trends, investigate anomalies, run the deep dives leaders ask for, and turn findings into clear recommendations on process, training, and strategy
- In partnership with relevant internal teams, own and optimize the Solutions tech stack, centered on Salesforce and its connected systems; close workflow gaps, automate manual work, and ensure data is integrated and accessible
- Lead change end to end: enablement, adoption measurement, post-launch success metrics, system governance, and the cost-effectiveness of the tools Solutions relies on
- Lead Solutions-specific AI Operations in partnership with Motive's central AI Operations team; identify and prioritize use cases, shape and deploy agents and tools, establish review and governance practices, drive adoption in the field, and measure whether the tools genuinely improve effectiveness and efficiency
- Hire, onboard, coach, and develop your team; manage performance, plan for personnel changes and succession, delegate real ownership, and build a group that grows its own expertise and future leaders
- Lead initiatives that span multiple Solutions subteams and cross-functional partners, influencing leaders through sound analysis and clear communication.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience leading business operations, Sales Operations, RevOps, analytics, systems operations, or a closely related operational function
- Strong analytical judgment: you can take an ambiguous business question and turn it into a trusted metric, a defensible analysis, and a decision
- Depth with dashboards, KPI frameworks, business reviews, data quality, and performance reporting
- A track record of improving Salesforce or comparable business systems; integrations, workflows, automation, data integrity, and user adoption
- Experience leading change across multiple teams, and the ability to communicate credibly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Practical experience evaluating, deploying, governing, or enabling AI-powered tools and agents
Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is one of Motive's core values. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome people of different backgrounds, experiences, abilities and perspectives.
