About the Skuad Acquisition
Back in August 2024, Payoneer acquired Skuad. Skuad's expertise helps businesses in over 160 countries navigate complex challenges such as international payroll, remote onboarding, and regulatory compliance. This acquisition reinforces Payoneer's mission and solidifies Skuad's role as a trusted partner for global workforce management (WFM).
This role will be part of our WFM business unit.
Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Associate – Global Expansion to support the company's global growth by driving strategic procurement initiatives, managing vendor partnerships, and enabling operational services across multiple countries.
This role will be responsible for sourcing and managing global service providers, establishing scalable operational frameworks, leading commercial negotiations, and ensuring efficient vendor governance. The role spans a broad range of service categories, including EOR, professional services, insurances, devices, background verification, co-working spaces, HR and payroll services, and other operational requirements. Experience with employee benefits or insurance procurement is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
The ideal candidate is commercially driven, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced global environment, with the ability to collaborate across functions and manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
What You'll Do
Strategic Procurement and Operational Enablement
- Own and drive end-to-end procurement and strategic sourcing initiatives across multiple global service categories, supporting the company's global expansion and operational objectives.
- Drive the operationalisation of newly established and dormant entities by coordinating procurement, vendor onboarding, service enablement, and cross-functional readiness to support successful business operations.
- Lead supplier discovery, market research, benchmarking, RFP/RFQ processes, commercial negotiations, and contract execution.
- Drive commercial negotiations that deliver value while balancing quality, scalability, compliance, risk, and business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to optimize procurement spend while maintaining service quality and operational excellence.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, HR, Payroll, and other internal stakeholders to deliver procurement initiatives effectively.
- Develop and maintain procurement policies, governance frameworks, standard operating procedures, and documentation.
Vendor & Partnership Management
- Own the end-to-end vendor lifecycle, including vendor identification, due diligence, onboarding, contracting, renewals, invoicing support, performance management, escalations, and offboarding.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with global and regional vendors and partners to ensure long-term collaboration and business success.
- Own supplier contracts, commercial terms, renewals, and compliance to ensure business continuity and effective risk management.
- Lead vendor renewal strategy, including commercial reviews, market benchmarking, and contract renegotiations to ensure continued value, cost optimization, and alignment with business needs.
- Establish vendor governance mechanisms, including regular business reviews, performance scorecards, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for vendor-related issues, commercial disputes, and operational challenges.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Track procurement spend, vendor performance, contract renewals, and operational KPIs.
- Monitor supplier risks, compliance requirements, and commercial opportunities.
- Prepare reports and insights for leadership on vendor performance, procurement and savings initiatives, and strategic projects.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, governance, vendor management and operational efficiency.
Who You Are
- MBA with 5–7 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, strategic sourcing, partnerships, international business or a related field.
- Experience managing global vendors and negotiating commercial agreements across multiple countries.
