We are not hiring a traditional UX lead. The role of design at KlearNow has fundamentally changed. PMs prototype directly in Lovable, v0, and Claude. Pods ship weekly. The bottleneck is no longer screen production — it is the system, the standards, and the AI-native patterns that let a small team ship enterprise-grade customs and trade software faster than competitors twice our size. This role owns that system.  

The Four Pillars of This Role

Design System Governance

Own KlearNow Engine's design system as a product. Tokens, components, patterns, accessibility — built so PMs and engineers can ship great UX without you in every screen.

AI-Native Experience Design

Define how customers interact with our agentic workflows. Set the patterns for human-in-the-loop, explainability, confidence signals, and graceful agent handoff.

Pod Enablement

Embed lightweight design reviews into our pod framework. Coach PMs on prototyping in Lovable, v0, and Claude. Raise the floor of every shipped experience without becoming a bottleneck.

Customer Outcomes

Lead the design of customer-facing artifacts — the ZTR dashboard, QBR experiences, intelligence views — that drive adoption, expansion, and renewal.

Design system reviews at Shape gate, lightweight critique during Build, a clear handoff to QA. Repeatable and respected.

You will be a player-coach. You set the bar, you hire the people who can hold it, and you do real design work yourself.

   

Must-Haves

Shipped enterprise B2B or complex workflow products

You have designed for users who do this for a living — operators, brokers, analysts, supply chain teams. You understand density, edge cases, exceptions, and that "delight" in enterprise often means "removes a frustration that has existed for ten years."

Built and governed a design system used by non-designers

You have shipped a system that PMs, engineers, or AI tools draw from directly. You can show us the tokens, the documentation, the adoption curve, and the conversations about governance you led.

Worked with AI, agentic, or copilot interfaces

You have designed for systems that act on the user's behalf — automation status, confidence indicators, human-in-the-loop flows, exception routing, agent handoff. You have opinions on what works and what does not.

How We Work

KlearNow runs a pod-based delivery framework. PMs and Engineering Leads co-own every pod with joint sign-off at every gate. Design enters at the Shape phase, not as a downstream handoff. The Engineering Lead authors the Technical Design Doc; the PM owns the value brief, shaped pitch, and prototype, often built in Lovable or v0 against your system. You join Shape reviews to set the design bar and unblock decisions — not to take screens away from the team.

Hotfixes are tiered (P0, P1, P2) with automated regression and minimal synchronous overhead. Releases are frequent. The work is real. The compliance stakes are real. So is the speed.

     

Logistics

LOCATION

KlearNow's Gurgaon office, Delhi NCR. On-site role, with regular overlap with US product and engineering leadership.

REPORTS TO

VP of Product, with a dotted line to VP of Engineering on system standards.

TEAM

Player-coach. One to two designers under you in year one. Lightweight governance over the PM pod team's design output.
