Our customers count on Tive to ensure that their shipments are delivered on time and in full—because every shipment matters. As an RF/Module Engineer, you'll own hardware design of our connectivity modules- from concept through production and support. What You'll Do Own module design/selection and second-sourcing decisions across platforms Antenna design/tuning in difficult RF environments Drive carrier certification and network approvals globally Debug field connectivity issues Optimize module power consumption to meet battery life targets Partner with other teams throughout development to ensure performance and quality Work directly with vendors and our CMs on test coverage and production yield Our ideal candidate has: 8+ years in cellular device engineering, with hands-on work at both the RF and module layers Shipped at least one cellular product through full carrier certification Strong antenna and RF fundamentals Fluency with cellular technology and landscape LTE-M/NB-IoT/Cat-1 Comfortable owning ambiguous problems on a small team Nice to Have Global deployment experience across fragmented band and roaming environments Battery-powered, duty-cycled device design Experience working with an offshore CM Compensation: $130,000 - $180,000 base salary The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education
