Built for logistics service providers running CargoWise, CargoDoc extracts key information from shipping, customs, and vendor invoice documents, validates that data, and inserts it directly into CargoWise—eliminating manual typing and reducing processing time and costs. Teams in freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and accounts payable use CargoDoc to streamline document-heavy workflows while maintaining high data quality. Documents can be ingested in multiple ways to fit existing processes: CargoDoc can pull files directly from email, accept uploads through E-Doc within CargoWise, or read from a shared drive. Once received, CargoDoc applies multi-step, AI-powered extraction that does not rely on fixed templates. This approach enables the platform to handle a wide range of document formats and layouts, including unstructured content, and to process documents in more than 50 languages. After extraction, data is reviewed in a validation interface before being posted to CargoWise, supporting accuracy checks and exception handling before records are committed.
